The latest of the Memoria crematoriums is the North Doncaster Memorial Park located just off the M18 on Armthorpe Lane, Barnby Dun, Doncaster. The main contractor for the project was Pacy-Wheatley Limited.
North Doncaster Memorial Park and Crematorium was opened in April 2023 offering cremation facilities and a garden of remembrance for cremated remains, in a beautifully located park with manicured gardens and restful country views. The subtle use of colour in the chapel allows the feeling of calmness and serenity, with the help of the open views from the huge picture window.
Treske furnished the Memoria chapel with Harrogate upholstered side chairs along with matching sofa seating for the family front rows, seating 100 people within the chapel. Memoria have designed the foyer to accommodate a further 200 people for large services and up to 400 people in total if the porte-cochere is utilised. Treske also supplied the Memorial consultation room with a large table and chairs, as well as armchairs and side tables for the waiting room.
Treske made a special design of catafalque, lectern and plinth, organ screen, console table, as well as fitting the curtain rails, canopy and curtains. White silk flowers were also supplied in line with Memoria branding, while pictures were also chosen for the wall art. Flower plinths and a coat stand were joined by a specially chosen chandelier to complete this modern contemporary crematorium.
Treske designed and manufactured the lectern to house the lighting and sound control systems in conjunction with Obitus to enable effective control of the service and the committal curtains.
The controls allow for pre-recorded eulogies or silent photographic presentations during the service and web cam facilities for internet viewing for those unable to attend a service. The installation also included committal curtains and their tracks as well as their control systems.
Treske supplied Memoria's North Oxfordshire Memorial Park with bespoke crematorium furniture, including the catafalque, lectern, committal curtains and tracking, as well as flower stands and bespoke seating in the form of matching sofas and chairs.
Darlington Council commissioned Treske to supply a turntable catafalque, lectern, console table, flower plinths, two coffin stands, chapel seating with two front rows of sofa seating, integrated AV and committal curtains and their control systems for the chapel, as well as waiting room furniture.
Treske worked closely with St Helens Borough Council to provide the furniture and furnishings required for the refurbishment of the old Crematorium chapel and creation of a new smaller additional chapel.
