The display of precious and historic objects requires specialised, custom-made cabinets, cases and cupboards. Treske collaborate with architects, historians, archivists, conservation experts and clergy to guarantee that conservation, security and access are addressed as equally important factors in their design and construction.
Church furniture for The Bray Chantry, St George's Chapel, designed and manufactured by Treske of Thirsk in spalted beech and walnut. The furniture features the Bray badge in its design and includes an altar, credence table, chairs, coffin stools, kneelers, a display cabinet, St Nicholas Folding Chairs.
For All Saints Church in North Lincolnshire Treske designed, made and installed nearly 220 side, arm and folding chairs, hymn book and Parish room cabinets including choir vestry cupboards and a historical wind instrument display, a specifically designed altar and one memorial book stand.
In partneship with Ron Sims Architect, a new altar, glazed internal porch, side screens and a new servery, complete with fittings and appliances, were made and installed by Treske for this historic church.
