Today’s increasingly diverse forms of worship and the wide range of community events that also take place in churches and chapels, mean that furniture for the sanctuary and chancel, does not just need to be in keeping with the church architecture, it also needs to be able to be used in different ways and locations. Choir stalls may if not being used need to become additional congregation seating, altars may have to be moved to and from a central position in the nave. This requires experience in developing and realising the designs through a careful process of design development and consultation to arrive at the solution that meets the practical as well as aesthetic needs of the church.
Treske has an ever-growing international client base, supplying bespoke furniture to churches, crematorium and other places of workshop around the globe.
