Treske has over 45 years’ experience of designing and making special commissions for bespoke church furniture and furnishings, often for the restoration of significant ecclesiastical buildings. We have brought together a collection of refurbishment case-studies featuring furniture supplied to a variety of church, chapel and sanctuary settings.
Treske designed and made the new nave choir, nave altar and clergy furniture for St Georges Chapel, Windsor Castle, some of which was used for the Committal Service for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
A full set of Sanctuary furniture including an altar, credence table, lecterns, choir stalls and clergy desks and other dignitary seating were designed and made by Treske for Manchester Cathedral.
Treske were chosen for their extensive experience of supplying churches with custom designed, hard-wearing, robust furniture. The company designed and manufactured 425 solid oak chairs, an altar table, a solid oak pulpit, a wall cross and a credence table especially for St Andrew's Church, with the St Andrew's cross hand-carved into some of the furniture.
Treske made and installed a co-ordinated set of furniture, including the tower screen, vestry table and vestment wardrobe, seating, porch notice boards, bookcases, library table, serving table, pulpit and Southwell chairs, as well as supplying 40 Howe 40/4 chairs.
Major good fortune enables Holy Trinity to undertake a complete reorder, including sanctuary, choir and nave furniture from Treske.
New sanctuary furniture designed and made by Treske joined the original benches made by Treske in the 1980's as part of a major reorder and reorientation of the church.
With more than 45 years' experience of church, chapel, sanctuary and crematoria refurbishments & bespoke furniture commissions, Treske's design team are well adept to working in partnership with architects, clergy and congregations in addition to heritage & conservation trusts...
