This Grade 1 listed building located on the wide-open city central area of College Green, was largely rebuilt in the 14th century with further additions in the 15th century of the tower and transept. The west twin towers were completed in 1888. Of the original stained glass little remains following Victorian replacement and damage during the Bristol Blitz.
As part of a seating reorder Bristol Cathedral selected Treske to supply the new Nave seating choosing the award-winning Howe 40/4 chairs designed by David Rowland.
Treske delivered 412 of the Howe 40/4 dense stacking chairs. The chairs chosen had oak ply seats and backs for comfort and are set out regularly for different services and because of their ease of movement and dense storage can be cleared from the Nave completely when required.
