Westerleigh Crematorium, New Woodland Chapel - Westerleigh Group
The addition of the new Woodland Chapel to the facilities at Westerleigh Crematorium which is also the headquarters of the Westerleigh Group, has provided a smaller, private and intimate chapel alongside the larger main crematorium chapel.
Treske designed and made the crematoria bench seating in ash to match the ash wood used in the other catafalque, lectern and frontal furniture within the chapel. The upholstered benches are arranged in five rows of three benches. Each row is fixed together and to the floor to keep the layout consistent between services. Each bench seat fits up against the adjacent bench seat cushion forming a continuous seat. The seating was chosen for comfort and strength to be durable enough to deal with regular committal services.
Upholstery was chosen by Westerleigh to fit with the colour scheme and upholstered by Treske. Treske offer a wide range of suitable contract fabrics to contract specifications Crib5 covering FR fire treatment.

Cheltenham Crematorium
