Treske were commissioned to design chapel furniture for the East Chapel so that it could be used for private prayer, small funeral services, christenings, and other events. Treske made 30 upholstered St Wilfrid side chairs for the congregation and two St Wilfrid armchairs for the celebrants that each had complimentary lecterns. The set was completed with an altar designed with a gothic arch to match the east window of the chapel. All the furniture was made in oak and finished with a light fume.
