The upholstered version of the St Wilfrid rush seated arm chair. Wider than the St Magnus armchair the St Wilfrid has an additional bar for support in the back rest. Usually made in oak, Treske often fume (expose the oak to ammonia) this chair in order to naturally colour the wood, making the chair look more established.

St Nicholas Church, Cuddington had stacking benches and chairs made by Treske as part of their church reordering.
During the preparatory work the pulpit and old pews were removed, revealing beautiful scagliola columns which, with the rounded Byzantine arches in the chancel and between the columns are the defining feature of the space, and becoming the architectural elements that found their way into the new sanctuary furniture.
Nearly 300 bespoke oak chairs made by Treske have replaced the old pews in the nave of Ripon Cathedral, and are now also being used in the choir.
